I'm in the process of leveling JC right now on my Worgen. I have actually been pleasantly surprised by how much gold I have made from the profession. Yes, the cut gems have a poor sell rate, but the other items crafted have been very profitable for me. At 515, you're fairly well past even the Nightstone choker, so this advice is likely too late to benefit you. Making a variety of necklaces and rings and posting them one or two at a time on the AH is a good method for making back the wow game card you spent and more.
You can disenchant the greens you make while leveling and sell the enchanting materials you get. Yes it takes a little bit of time to get patterns but that’s nothing compared to the amount of money you can make afterwards.
Tips for things to get for being a JC:
Cuts: Strenght, Intell and Agil. Get those cuts for Red and off cuts in the Hybrid colors. Another cut to look into getting is Mastery. There are a lot of classes that use it some even stack it. If pvp is big on your server then the Res. Cuts are nice to get, also the Blue Spell Pen is nice to get also for your blue cut.
Rings and Necks: If cuts aren't making you a good income, then look at the Ring/Neck market. The level 85 346 Crafted items some of the Rings are real cost to BiS and sell for around 2.5k to 3k on my server.
If you can't make an income with my first two points, then you have one of two things you can do. Do your daily are sell the Eye's or Drop JC for something else.
Also before you go and try to cut gems for a profit. Use LilSparky and Auctioneer there both add-ons that are nice to have. Do a scan of your gem market and cut the gem for the best profit. Also note Do not post more then 2-3 of the same rare gem. Also on daily days it’s good to drop your extra Common gems in the AH for a good profit make sure no more than around 10 of so are done this way and cut the auction to 12 hours. People well Min. Bid and that why you don't eat the 3g per gem posted.
I make a decent profit from chanting - I buy cheap greens from the AH, DE them, use the mats I need to level and sell the rest. It looks like the OP bought all the BOP JC-only recipes. Whoops. Only buy the one (or maybe two) recipes you'll actually use. Those are your profession bonuses (like chanter ring chants, BS sockets, etc). Blue cuts do sell, and sell well. And you don't need to get all the recipes. I bought a few that sell consistently and saving my tokens for epic recipes.
These tips may be useful to all gamers.
When you level you skill up you will no need to worry about your WOW key. Just
enjoy the fun of the game.
